A Mac (macOS 12+) or Windows 10/11 computer, a microphone, and a second display or projector for the congregation screen. The free tier runs fully offline; paid tiers need an internet connection for cloud transcription.

Yes. Upgrade or downgrade any time from Stripe’s customer portal. Changes apply on the next billing cycle.

Cancel any time with one click in the Stripe customer portal. You keep access until the end of your current billing period, with no prorating and no follow-up emails.

An hour is sixty minutes of cloud transcription on Pro or Max. On-device sessions on the free tier don’t count toward your monthly hours. Hours don’t roll over; they reset at the start of each billing month.

On our internal test set of recorded sermons, Rhema’s combined detector (direct quote + paraphrase + back-reference) achieves around 95% precision and 96% recall on Pro/Max with cloud transcription. The free tier’s on-device speech recognition is meaningfully less accurate, closer to 80%, and we recommend it only for testing and rehearsal.

We actively test with a range of accents and dialects, including thick West African (Nigerian) accents, and Rhema performs well across them - accurately transcribing spoken scripture references, foreign names, and culturally specific phrasing. The cloud transcription service handles accent variation reliably, and Rhema’s detection pipeline is designed to work with the natural rhythms and vocabulary of real preaching, not just studio-clean diction.

Pro/Max tiers will detect the drop, switch to on-device speech recognition as a fallback, and display a banner in the operator UI. When the connection comes back, the cloud detector resumes automatically. You won’t lose the session.

Rhema renders the verse itself through its built-in live output, so there’s no separate presentation app to drive. Send Rhema’s output to a second display, projector, NDI source, or Blackmagic Decklink Duo and the verse appears the moment it’s detected. You control fonts, backgrounds, and layout in the built-in graphics editor.

No. Audio is transcribed in flight and discarded; neither Rhema nor our transcription provider retain the audio. Transcripts are kept locally on your machine for the duration of the session and discarded when you close the app.

Yes. Email us from the address you used to subscribe and we’ll resend the key. If you’re locked out of that email, we can verify the subscription via Stripe and reset the key to a new address.

Check three things in order: (1) the audio meter in the operator UI shows movement when the pastor speaks; (2) the live output is going to the right display (Settings → Output); (3) your tier supports the detection mode you need (paraphrase and allusion require Pro or Max). If all three look right and detection still doesn’t fire, send us the session log from Help → Export diagnostic log. We’ll triage within 24 hours on Pro, same-day on Max.
